On June 5th-7th, the 114th Aero Squadron hosted the 2nd Annual 3D Hobby Shop "Fly-Low-In". This great event features some of the best 3D and sport aircraft in the industry and is sponsored by 3D Hobby Shop. It is quickly becoming their flagship event!

On Friday, the temperatures were in the mid-80's and there was a light north wind, making for perfect flying conditions. Registered pilots from as far away as California enjoyed a great day of flying.

On Saturday and Sunday, temperatures rose into the mid-90's and the normal southerly winds prevailed. There was some carnage, with the pilots discovering those trees that tend to jump up in our way, but they took it in stride. David Vilbig's grill was serving up some excellent burgers, hot dogs, pork loin and steak, and it was delicious as usual.

The event proved to be a resounding success and we look forward to hosting it again next year! Here are some photographic highlights from the event.
